Last Minute Christmas Card

Are you struggling to get your hand-stamped Christmas cards finished and in the mail? If you’ve waited until now to start making your holiday cards, and now you need an idea that you can mass produce, I have one for you!

Christmas cards can be as simple or elaborate as you want them to be – there’s no rule that says a card has to have multiple layers and embellishments, or complicated techniques, to be worthy to send. A simple card, with a handwritten note inside, is just as appreciated – and much easier to mass produce!

I shared this card a couple of years ago. And while the stamps and patterned paper that I used have since been discontinued, the idea is still valid:

  • mat holiday-themed patterned paper with coordinating cardstock and layer onto a card base that also coordinates (pick a couple of colors out of your patterned paper)
  • stamp your favorite holiday greeting on Whisper White cardstock, punch it out, layer it with a larger punch in the same color as your card base and attach to the card
  • add a bow or other embellishment for a little “pop”, and you’re done!
