Are you struggling to get your hand-stamped Christmas cards finished and in the mail? If you’ve waited until now to start making your holiday cards, and now you need an idea that you can mass produce, I have one for you!
Christmas cards can be as simple or elaborate as you want them to be – there’s no rule that says a card has to have multiple layers and embellishments, or complicated techniques, to be worthy to send. A simple card, with a handwritten note inside, is just as appreciated – and much easier to mass produce!
I shared this card a couple of years ago. And while the stamps and patterned paper that I used have since been discontinued, the idea is still valid:
- mat holiday-themed patterned paper with coordinating cardstock and layer onto a card base that also coordinates (pick a couple of colors out of your patterned paper)
- stamp your favorite holiday greeting on Whisper White cardstock, punch it out, layer it with a larger punch in the same color as your card base and attach to the card
- add a bow or other embellishment for a little “pop”, and you’re done!
That’s it! Just three basic steps to a finished card! To order supplies for those last-minute cards, click here to shop my Online Store. And remember, many of the items in the 2015 Holiday Catalog will be discontinued soon, so get your favorites before they’re gone for good!
