So, do you know what the BIG DEAL about SALE-A-BRATION is? For every $50 you spend (before shipping and tax is added), you’ll get to choose a FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog!
Hopefully you’ve had a chance to look through the Sale-A-Bration catalog and have your favorites all picked out. If you don’t have your copy of the catalog, you can request one here. (If you’ve already requested a catalog but haven’t received it yet, there’s no need to request again. My catalog inventory was low, but I have more on the way now!)
My favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp set by far is the Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set! Just look at that adorable little chick! How are you supposed to resist such cuteness?
For this card, I paired Honeycomb Happiness with the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set to make an Easter card. These two stamp sets pair up for a winning combination, even if you don’t send Easter cards. Just change out the “Happy Easter” for one of the many other sayings from Teeny Tiny Wishes – “Hello Baby”, “For Your Shower”, “Happy Birthday” (for a young child), or even “Thinking of You” would work well.
Since I was making an Easter card, I chose fresh, spring-like colors – Mint Macaron, So Saffron, and Very Vanilla, all set off by the Basic Black borders.
And that little chick? Color him in easily using a Sponge Dauber and my So Saffron stamp pad – just a quick little swirl of color and he’ll come to life! Add a touch of color to the beak & feet using a Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker and the chick is done.
Doesn’t the Large Polka Dot embossed background add even more fun? After you run your Very Vanilla cardstock through the Big Shot, gently rub a Stampin’ Sponge inked with So Saffron ink across the embossed piece to make the polka dots really “pop”!
And for the finishing touch, just a bit of Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim wrapped around and taped to the back is all you need for this sweet little card.
